PRINCIPLES
TRANSPARENCY, PARTNERSHIP and CONTRIBUTION are the values FPA’s administrative team cherishes and promotes. One of the essential ingredients of our success is the constant dialogue with the members of our community, making this the staple of the faculty’s programmes and research.
The Faculty of Public Administration management team comprises the departmental councils (representing the Law, Economy and Public Policy and Public Management Departments), the faculty council (counting 15 members: 11 teacher representatives and 4 student representatives), the dean and the deputy deans.
Our research and education community is represented in the NUPSPA Senate by 7 teachers and 3 students from the Faculty of Public Administration.
TRADITION
The Faculty of Public Administration values the professional expertise of all its managerial teams. Two of our major guiding lines are assuring the continuity of decisional processes and disseminating best organizational practices.
1991 - 2004
The management team led by Professor Ioan ALEXANDRU
In the more than 10 years dedicated to administrating the faculty, professor Ioan Alexandru and the members of his team established the first Romanian administrative science doctoral school and launched the Department for Distance Learning.
In 2012, professor Ioan ALEXANDRU received the title of Honorary Dean of the Faculty of Public Administration.
2004 - 2012
The management team led by Professor Lucica MATEI
Initiating the European Administration specialization in Romania and bringing about the first European accreditation of a Romanian public administration bachelor’s programme, professor Lucica MATEI is the dean that designed and consolidated the international image of The Faculty of Public Administration.
